After gathering information from various sources, which you will find below, I wanted to share my personal experience of Cally Palace— and let me tell you, it is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment you step through the grand front doors and receive an actual key (not a card!) to your room, it feels like stepping back in time.
The grounds are breathtaking, offering a perfect blend of history and natural beauty. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time for a round of golf, but we did capture some fantastic shots of the dogs on the front lawn—stay tuned for those in an upcoming post!
Inside, the rooms are enormous, with plush, comfortable beds that make it all too easy to sink into relaxation. The menu is equally impressive, featuring world-class cuisine. One night, I tried the Chicken Balmoral—a dish of chicken stuffed with haggis—and it was absolutely delicious. Even more impressive, for the venison on the menu, the chef hunts on-site, ensuring the freshest flavors possible.
But what truly sets Cally Palace apart is the staff. Every single team member was warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an unforgettable stay. Their hospitality was the epitome of Scottish charm, always checking in with a friendly word and ensuring we were well taken care of.
Without a doubt, this is a place I will return to. Cally Palace isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience.
